Social Responsibility

At Tactx Medical, Inc. we take pride in serving our community. We’ve involved ourselves in various drives such as Toys for Tots, One Warm Coat, Feed the Homeless and various Cancer walks. In addition to those local drives, the Tactx Medical, Inc. staff has gone global! We have taken the initiative to raise money and help those less fortunate in areas far from our home but not far from the hearts of our staff.

In May of 2008 the staff rallied together to raise money to help the people in Sichuan, China after a earthquake struck and killed 107 people. Then in 2009, the staff once again got together and raffled off a gift basket to raise money for earthquake relief in Abruzzo, Italy. This is where 1,500 people were injured and between 30,000 and 40,000 people were believed to have lost their homes.

Due to the economy the local food banks have been at some of the lowest levels in history. So again in July of 2009, the staff were stirred to action and began the Share –A-Lunch campaign. This was to raise money for the children in California who are on the subsidized lunch program during the school year, yet go hungry during the summer when school is not in session.
